I've been going through BUILD sessions on Channel 9, and saw the amazing stuff coming to Windows.

One thing I really like is the 'Contracts' ex: search, share, settings .etc.

Since Windows phone 7 is already awesome at voice controlling, implementing some sort of a 'voice activation' contract would be cool for either Windows it-self or WP7.

I mean, something like, an application requests to be a receiver for a certain word, say "Bob" at install time (probably via manifest). And when the phone/tablet/PC is in a certain state where Windows/ WP operate over voice (as in connected to bluetooth headset), Windows will listen to everything. If the user says "Bob, open twitter", windows will send this to the registered app. After that, until the user explicitly exit the app, or switches to another, 'Bob' will have voice focus, where the user don't have to say 'bob' all the time. So user can say 'send email to Linda' without pre-pending 'Bob'.

This will bring all the coolness about voice to the normal app developers without having to write voice recognition and hooking up and listening to the mic all the time.

Specially, in a mobile device like a tab or a phone, this will allow to control any app (not just WP built in apps) over voice.
